Astrocartography, also called location astrology, relates your birth chart to places on the map. In this approach, the planets in your chart are drawn as lines across a world map, showing where each was rising, setting or overhead at the moment you were born.

When a move or new place raises big questions
Choosing where to live can be one of the biggest decisions in life. You might be weighing a job in another city, thinking about returning to a family homeland, or feeling drawn to a place you have only visited once. Practical lists help, but they do not always capture why a place matters.
Questions people often bring include:
- Why do I feel so at home in one city and restless in another?
- Is this a good time in my life to move, or am I running from something?
- What am I really looking for in a new place?
How astrocartography can offer another perspective
A consultation uses that idea as a starting point for conversation. You talk about the places on your mind and what you hope to find there, and the discussion reflects on them through location astrology. It is a perspective to add to your own thinking, not a promise that a city will bring love, work or success.
Explore places and questions
People bring different kinds of place questions. These examples show the reflective questions involved, and where practical advice belongs:
| Topic | Reflective question | Practical side, handled elsewhere |
|---|---|---|
| Moving for work | How do I feel about building a life there? | Contracts, visas and relocation support |
| Returning home | What does going back mean to me now? | Immigration or residency rules |
| Travel | Why am I drawn to this place at this time? | Bookings and travel safety |
| Buying a home | What do I want daily life to feel like? | Property, mortgages and surveys |
Birth-chart and location work
Astrocartography starts from the same birth chart used in a Vedic astrology consultation. The birth moment stays the same. What changes is the reference location.
There are two related tools. A world map shows lines for every planet at once. A relocation chart redraws your chart as if you had been born in one specific place. Both depend heavily on an accurate birth time, because a small error moves the lines on the map. If your birth time is uncertain, mention it, as it limits how precisely places can be discussed.
How does missing birth time limit interpretation?
The lines on an astrocartography map move as the Earth turns. A birth time that is out by an hour can shift them by a large distance on the map. With an uncertain time, the conversation can still reflect on places in general terms, but it cannot point to them precisely.
What requires confirmation
Astrologers use different mapping methods and present results in different ways. When you get in touch, ask which approach is used, how the places are discussed in an online, phone or WhatsApp consultation, and whether you receive anything to keep afterwards.
If your question is about the inside of a home rather than its location, a Feng Shui consultation looks at the arrangement of a space instead.
